What's Happening @ the Library
The LEGO Guy at EMCL
Join the Lego Guy at East Morgan County Library on Wednesday, June 19th @ 1:00 PM and 3:30PM. He will be conducting two workshops: 1:00 PM--4th-8th grade and 3:30 PM--Kindergarteners- 3rd grade. (This is just a guideline...any age can come to either workshop.)
The LEGO Guy will bring his enormous collection of LEGOs for the kids to play and build with. He will tell about the history of the LEGO Company and show some cool things to do with LEGOs.
All are welcome to join us for a time of LEGO fun with the LEGO Guy.

Annual Quilt Show quickly approaching
Quilters bring in your quilts. We are now taking quilts starting today, June 17th until next Monday, June 24th at noon.
The quilt show begins June 26th-July 6th.
We look forward to seeing all the wonderful quilts.
Summer Reading Program
The Summer Reading program is in full swing. So far, we have 54 signed up and those 54 have read 760 hours. Good job everyone.
The program continues until July 31st. The end of the program swimming party will be for those patrons who have turned in 2 reading cards.

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
The East Morgan County Library wants to let you know of the new and simpler way we are doing the program.
Instead of filling out the packets for the books you've read, you will:
* Be given a bookmark with pictures representing each book you've read.
* For each finished book you will cross off a picture.
* When finished marking the pictures on the bookmark, bring it in to library.
* That's it.
Family Movie
East Morgan County Library will be showing "Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer " on Saturday, July 13th @ 10:00 AM. Come join us for the whole movie or just a part of it. Either way we love to see you.
Computer Classes
We are interested in what our patrons would like for a computer class. Any ideas??? Stop by the front desk and let the staff know.

East Morgan County Library is taking donations again. Thank you for your patience.
MP3 Players Available
MP3 players are now available to check out to download from the Across Colorado Digital Consortium. If you have any questions, please ask our friendly staff.

We are happy to announce that EMCL is part of Overdrive Advantage. This means we have a selection of digital materials that are only available for our patrons, instead of shared with all libraries in our group.
