Programs for Adults
Year-Round Reading Program
Not just for summer any more! Kids in grades K-12th and adults can complete reading cards and turn them in for prizes throughout the year. Pick up your reading card to get started at the front desk. Grand prizes awarded seasonally.
Twice a year the library holds quilting classes to bring people together who share a love of creating beautiful artwork in the form of quilts. Each class demonstrates a different pattern and is a different level of difficulty, in order to accommodate the beginning quilter or the advanced. Watch the calendar of events and the Brush News Tribune for information about upcoming classes.
Annual Quilt Show
Ever year around the week of July 4th, the people from Morgan County and the surrounding areas are invited to bring their quilts to the library for display in the East Morgan County Library’s annual quilt show. Whether you have a quilt to bring or not, you are welcome to come enjoy the exhibit. Watch the calendar for exact dates.
Adult Craft Club
Meets every Tuesday at 1:00 PM at the library. Bring your own project!
To encourage reading and learning during the summer months when school is out, children, teens and adults are invited to participate in the Summer Reading Program. Complete reading cards for fun prizes and join us during June and July for special presentations and activities.
