Programs for Adults
Adults Only Programs
We offer a wide variety of programs for adults at various times throughout the month. We try to have at least one program per month. Most of our events take place on Tuesday nights, but we occasionally have Saturday afternoon events as well. Keep your eyes out for more information on each upcoming event!
Paint with Kate: Class taught by Kate Bostron
The East Morgan County Genealogical Society has been helping people track down their ancestors since June 2008. Everyone with a little interest in discovering their past is welcome to attend. Meetings periodically feature guest speakers. There is an occasional field trip to other libraries for genealogy research. Meetings take place the third Monday of the month at 7:00 PM in the Carnegie Room.

Twice a year the library holds quilting classes to bring people together who share a love of creating beautiful artwork in the form of quilts. Each class demonstrates a different pattern and is a different level of difficulty, in order to accommodate the beginning quilter or the advanced. Watch the calendar of events and the Brush News Tribune for information about upcoming classes.
Annual Quilt Show
Ever year around the week of July 4th, the people from Morgan County and the surrounding areas are invited to bring their quilts to the library for display in the East Morgan County Library’s annual quilt show. Whether you have a quilt to bring or not, you are welcome to come enjoy the exhibit. Watch the calendar for exact dates.
Adult Craft Club
Meets every Tuesday at 1:00 PM at the library. Bring your own project!
To encourage reading and learning during the summer months when school is out, children, teens and adults are invited to participate in the Summer Reading Program. Complete reading cards for fun prizes and join us during June and July for special presentations and activities.
